City of Heath

City of Newark

City of Pataskala

With strong agricultural roots and a close proximity to the state capital of Columbus, the dynamic city of Pataskala offers a small-town atmosphere with access to big city amenities. City of Johnstown

Village of Hebron

With a population of approximately 2,500, the Village of Hebron is strategically located near Interstate 70 in south-central Licking County.  The Village is home to Canal Park, a public space in the center of the village, home to covered pavilions and connections into Licking County's extensive trail system.  Additionally, Hebron's proximity to the Buckeye Lake area and highly-diversified industrial park, the village is an ideal location for many citizens to live, work, play, and invest in.

Etna Township

The economic development climate in Etna Township has changed dramatically over the last 20 years. The township continues to transition from a tax base that was nearly exclusive to agricultural business to a community with various businesses including agricultural, industrial, and commercial. Granville Township

Granville Township is one of the few townships in Ohio to have passed Open Space levies for the purpose of raising money to acquire title to developable property or alternatively to acquire the development rights to property with the plan to leave it as open space. The Township has two levies raising money for the acquisition of open space and combines this money with general fund money to make property acquisitions. To learn more, visit their website.

Union Township

The largest township in Licking County, Union Township is comprised of 21,035 acres and is located in the south central section of the County. Union Township is home to the Village of Hebron, with a population of 2,138, located at the crossroads of State Route 79, or Hebron Road, and US 40, National Road. Also within Union Township is the Village of Buckeye Lake, which lies on the north side of the Lake in the southeast corner of the township. The current population of Buckeye Lake is 3,215. Monroe Township

Located in NW Licking County, Monroe Township is governed by a three-member Board of Trustees. Originally settled in 1806, Monroe Township enjoys the services of the Mary E. Babcock Library, the T. J. Evans Bike Trail comes into the area from Newark, via Granville and Alexandria. There are 21.99 miles of roads that are maintained by Monroe Township with Fire protection and emergency medical service for the township are provided by the Monroe Township Fire Department, which also holds mutual aid agreements with surrounding departments.
